Calm mode: games without noise and sudden movement
Calm mode quietens the whole app. Colours become softer, sounds quieter and animations switch off, so the screen stays calm and predictable.
What changes
- A softer colour palette on every screen, including the owl
- Sounds are about three times quieter
- No animations: no bouncing, confetti or flashing
- The owl speaks a little more slowly
- Moving targets (balloons, bugs, fireflies) move more slowly
Who it can help
Children who are easily upset or overwhelmed by loud sounds, bright colours or fast changes on the screen. Many parents also find it helps in the evening, when a child needs to wind down before bed.
How to turn it on
In the app, tap the padlock in the top right corner and hold it for three seconds, solve a short task for parents, then switch on this setting under Child’s needs. The change applies straight away and can be switched off at any time.
